Sydney, NSW: Multi award-winning VR/AR studio Start Beyond invites Training and L&D industry professionals to contribute their insights on the Future of Work and the challenges facing today’s learning teams. Results from the 5-minute survey will form the basis of Start Beyond’s inaugural Immersive Learning Report for 2021.
Immersive Learning combines effective gamification techniques with immersive media such as 3D animation, 360° video, spatial audio and virtual interaction to create a new kind of learning experience that promotes faster learning, greater knowledge retention and the ability to simulate any soft-or-hard skill scenarios imaginable. However, learning organisations are faced with a myriad of challenges when attempting to adopt new technologies, even when the value to the organisation has immense potential to motivate, retain and quickly up-skill and cross-skill learners.
Data from the Immersive Learning Survey for L&D Professionals will be used to deliver a comprehensive report that will help organisations bring about institutional change; providing a practical guide, qualitative insights and an actionable plan for implementing the Future of Learning.
Kain Tietzel, CEO at Start Beyond said “Almost every L&D professional has read countless articles on the benefits of training using VR and AR, yet in many cases, they’re unable to pilot or explore these opportunities due to misconceptions about cost, internal friction or because they need more factual or social proof to take the next step.” Tietzel goes on to say “Our goal with this survey is to highlight the pain points that L&D practitioners and specialists are facing, and to provide an actionable roadmap for delivering better learning outcomes today, while future proofing against the accelerating changes of tomorrow.”
The survey is quick, engaging and should only take a few minutes to complete. All survey information and data will be kept private and confidential, and at no time will we ask for sensitive company information that can be attributed to the organisation.
The survey is open to L&D professionals across corporate learning, higher education and external training solution providers. Start the survey here: https://startbeyond.co/survey
